Outside of the Church what ambition is as yet unfulfilled?
I would like to teach a Bible class in a college setting.

Recognizing that New Jersey is the greatest place in the world, what other place in the world do you really enjoy visiting and why?
I really enjoy going to the beach and relaxing.  So really there is no need for me to ever leave the state since we already have the best beaches.  But if I had to say somewhere else than Florida is a great place to go

You are stuck on a desert island. Besides the Bible, and your wife, and your family and your friends, what three inanimate objects would you take with you?
Since I already have those things I would have to say a solar powered generator, my computer, and a satellite wifi antenna.

What is one thing about your (previous jobs / accomplishments) that would surprise the congregation?
I was the high school lacrosse assistant coach of the year in the state of Kentucky in 2004.  So what if there were only 25 teams in the state (some didn’t have assistant coaches) and they lost my plaque so I never got to see it.

What does it mean to “Love God” to your personally?
Loving God is about being in relationship with Him and responding to the love that He has first shown us in more ways than we could possibly imagine.

Why do you do your current role at Long Hill Chapel?
My main focus right now is with the college and young adult ministries.  At the moment I am also working on the church’s database information and technology.

Why is “Loving Others” so critical?
It is the second half of the great commandment and a natural outflow of the first.  We cannot truly love God if  we are not loving others.

What does “Serving the World” mean to you?
To me that is where we have the opportunity to bless others and live out our faith.  God’s blessing is intended to be passed on to others, and it is the natural response for all that He has done in our lives.

Given that Soccer is the “beautiful game” what is your second favorite sport?
It’s a tie, I’m torn between “real” football and lacrosse.
