Worship Ministry
Worship is a vital part of the life of everyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is not merely singing or praising God, but simply put, it’s submitting all of one’s life to the goal of glorifying God.
Psalm 35:18
18 I will give you thanks in the great assembly;
among throngs of people I will praise you.
The worship ministry at Long Hill Chapel strives to honor God in every aspect of our corporate worship services. We are committed and dedicated in our various roles to the Lord and to this local body of believers.
The following are opportunities for service:
- Worship Band/Choir: The musicians for the second service rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7-9pm. One of the goals of the worship ministry for this year is to develop a worship choir to assist the band on Sunday mornings.
- Choir: The choir meets for weekly rehearsals on Wednesday evenings from 8-9:30pm and generally sings during the first service on Sunday mornings.
- Sound Ministry: The sound ministry is open to reliable individuals who have some technical knowledge, are willing to learn, and have an ear for music. Training is available. Volunteers need to be available once a month for a Thursday night rehearsal and the following Sunday morning.
