We scatter, in ministry teams, to participate with God’s gracious purpose for His world. Can you imagine the joy of partnering with God in serving those in need of hope and restoration? Jesus in human form was the presence of God among us carrying out the work and message of God. When Jesus ascended to heaven He commissioned the church to carry out His work. It is with deep passion that we join God in His work of meeting needs and sharing the transforming message of our Risen Lord. God has created us for something bigger than ourselves and being led by the Holy Spirit we participate with the work of God locally and globally. At Long Hill Chapel we are fully committed to that mission. We have several opportunities, our Service teams, which allow us to engage in our community and in our church. To humbly serve as Jesus asks.

Vacation Bible School
Are you ready for an Adventure on Promise Island, Where Kids Discover God’s Lifesaving Love? Amidst the swaying palm trees, sandy beach, sunshine and exotic wildlife, kids will learn God’s promises never fade, no matter what age we are. Each day on Promise Island, kids will see God at work in the lives of Old and New Testament Bible people and realize that God’s promises are for us too!
This summer Long Hill Chapel invites you to bring your kids, age 4 through 5th grade, to our Vacation Bible School from 9 am – 12 noon each day during the week of July 16th-20th, where they can participate in week-long adventure learning all about God’s promises.
Children will be thrilled by the warm welcome, fun skit and energetic music at the Seaside Celebration. They will dive into Fun Time Falls that will include action packed games. Their yummy snacks will be made daily in our Coconut Café. Children will hear a daily Bible story at the Lifeguard Lagoon and will get creative in Project Pointe.
As they participate in fun-filled activities, children will learn about God’s amazing love and His Word, the Bible! We will have a great time with lively songs, hilarious skits, creative crafts, exciting games, Bible stories and tasty snacks – all of the things that make Vacation Bible School so much fun for children.
Registration: $20 per child (Families with 3 or more children $60);
After July 1 and at the door – $25 per child

Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University
Long Hill Chapel is hosting Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. The 13 week course will meet on Thursday nights, March 1st – May 24th, from 7:30 – 9:30 pm.

Positive Discipline Parenting Course
Positive Discipline is an approach to working with children which is neither permissive nor punitive. It focuses on helping children develop life skills, such as strong communication, independence, cooperation, responsibility, and problem solving through kind and firm parenting techniques.
