Ministry Description

Our goal is to connect Alliance people with Alliance work around the world, for us we want to connect people to Ensenada, Mexico! We want to expose and motivate churches to do ministry worldwide. Taking part in a mission trip experience can help lay people discover that God can work through them to enrich the lives of others. This satisfying discovery can deepen their commitment to be faithful servants of Christ throughout their lives. The Ensenada Short Term Mission Center started ministering in 2005. We exist to incorporate short-term mission groups in the Great Commission of reaching the unreached and to strengthen the churches in Mexico and the United States. We oversee the Short Term Ministry in Ensenada, hosting short term groups. This year we expect to host between 600-1000 people. Through the short term groups this year we hope to work on 5 churches and build between 20 and 30 houses. Currently we have 15 years experience in working with Short Term Mission Groups and are in our 4th year as the Site Leaders of the Ensenada Site. During our time of ministry in Ensenada it includes the following, 1) working with short-term mission groups, 2) helping & serving pastors and churches, 3) seminar ministry, 4) providing counsel & support to pastors, 5) construction projects to improve life in the communities and church facilities, and, 6) planting churches.

Prayer Requests

1st. Pray that we would be able to have discernment in knowing where God would have us minister and plant churches. 2nd. Pray that our groups would have a good witness among the Mexican National Church. 3rd. Pray that God would give us unity among our team and also pray that God would give us wisdom to lead the team as it gets bigger and bigger. 4th. Pray that God would supply ALL the needs we have, as we plant more and build more churches our budget increases. 5th. Pray that God would give us rest when we have down time, in our busy season we go 86 straight days without a day-off. Pray for stamina during that time!
