Ministry Description

YWAM Belfast holds a Discipleship Training School each year with an emphasis on reconciliation. As a base we also run a Breakfast Club in a local primary school in an inner-city area. Jon is pursuing his PhD in Theology of Reconciliation at Trinity College Dublin, Irish School of Ecumenics. He also contines to do resource development for various ministries and organisations around Belfast Amy continues to do the bookeeping for YWAM Ireland, volunteers at Hazelwood Integrated Primary School where Iain and Eilís attend and helps staff 3-4 Silent Retreats each year. YWAM Ireland is yet again in a time of transition- the Lord has been opening many doors for ministry, and closing a few as well.

Prayer Requests

1) For Jon as he works on his PhD. 2) For Amy as she persues a licence as a Classroom Assistant. 3) For for peace and security in our neighbourhood. We've had some low-level confrontation with teenagers. Nothing dangerous, but annoying and a bit distressing none the less. 4) As the credit crunch hits our supporters, it hits us as well. Let's pray for us all, that God would meet all our needs. 5) That we would be good parents. We're in a support group for families with children with Apserger's syndrome. It's been a real blessing to us.
