Looking Back At The Maze Weekend
This past weekend was truly memorable and one of epic proportion! All day Thursday we set up the Maze with the help of a tremendously committed group of volunteers. On Friday night Pastor John had about 50 kids come out and enjoy the fun of the Maze, games and snacks. He then proceeded to share the gospel with a canvas painting, that the kids helped him create, that resembled the wordless book. He did a great job with this.
On Saturday again the many faithful volunteers showed up to help reach out to others. A number of churches brought groups of teens to experience the Maze, games, food and much more. At 6pm we gave an iPod away to Emily Sinegra. She was thrilled to have her name drawn for the free gift. Then the highlight of the event came when Kristen Jane Anderson (you can Google her name and get more information) rolled her wheelchair to the front and center of the gym to share her story of God’s amazing grace and miraculous protection of her very life. What was most evident to me was that the Holy Spirit was powerfully moving in and through Kristen as she spoke of the incredible love of Jesus. Kristen then shared her story again in the sanctuary before the Apologetix came to give a concert.
On Sunday we invited everyone to come for lunch, provided by the Morristown satellite church plant core team, and have a shot at the Maze. It was pretty funny to see so many adults give it a try and end up still so close to the front door even after their time was extended, especially Pastor’s Phil, Matthew and Stephen, all were lost at the same time. It was indeed a great weekend that we are all thankful for.
And to all those who came and helped, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. This kind of labor intensive event cannot be done unless people feel the breeze of God moving them to service. You are a wonderfully encouraging church family.
Thanks again,
Pastor Dan

Dear Dan thanks to you and the Morristown satellite for lunch. I am sorry I could not stay to help. You and your crew did a great job and it looked like everyone was having a wonderful time. I pray that God keeps on blessing you, your family and this amazing maze. In his name Victoria Dew
