Outside of the Church what ambition is as yet unfulfilled?
Completing the doctoral program I am in, learn to speak Spanish and write.
Recognizing that New Jersey is the greatest place in the world, what other place in the world do you really enjoy visiting and why?
Israel - a beautiful country that greatly enhanced my understanding of Scripture.
You are stuck on a desert island. Besides the Bible, and your wife, and your family and your friends, what three inanimate objects would you take with you?
A powerful telescope to enjoy God’s glory in the night sky and to keep an eye out for passing ships, books and a sand wedge (might as well take advantage of all the sand and finally learn how to hit out of a trap).
What is one thing about you (previous jobs / accomplishments) that would surprise the congregation?
I worked as a “roughneck” on an oil rig for a short time.
What does it mean to “Love God” to your personally?
Gaze upon His beauty and be overwhelmed and transformed by His purifying love for me.
Why do you do your current role at Long Hill Chapel?
Call of God, love of the Word, the joy of encouraging spiritual growth and a love for the people at LHC.
Why is “Loving Others” so critical?
A loving and non-judgmental community is essential for growth and restoration.
What does “Serving the World” mean to you?
Participating with God in His movement in the world.
Given that Soccer is the “beautiful game” what is your second favorite sport?
