Outside of the Church what ambition is as yet unfulfilled?
To fly in a corporate jet and to speak to a stadium of 25,000 plus people
Recognizing that New Jersey is the greatest place in the world, what other place in the world do you really enjoy visiting and why?
San Diego Ca. It has some of the most beautiful weather and some of the most beautiful views of the ocean and the mountains.
You are stuck on a desert island. Besides the Bible, and your wife, and your family and your friends, what three inanimate objects would you take with you?
Sports equipment soccer ball etc… ipod, 4 wheeler dune buggy
What is one thing about you (previous jobs / accomplishments) that would surprise the congregation?
That I started and ran my own business
What does it mean to “Love God” to your personally?
When I think of loving God, I always go back to the fact that I can only love Him or anyone else b/c He loved me first. And then I find it very hard to describe what it means to love God. His love is overwhelming and I am undeserving of it but that’s the point HE loves me and when I think about these truths I simply love God.
Why do you do your current role at Long Hill Chapel?
I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that God has called to do what I do right here right now! The joy in that is that I love what He has asked me to do and until He says anything different I will continue to happily do what I’m doing.
Why is “Loving Others” so critical?
It goes right back to loving God. It is critical that God love us, and He does, so it is critical that we share in that love and love others for His sake.
What does “Serving the World” mean to you?
Jesus came and showed us an example of service that cannot be matched and He wants us to become more like Him so it is important to me to serve the world as I follow Him.
Given that Soccer is the “beautiful game” what is your second favorite sport?
At my age my favorite sport to play is floor hockey, it used to be soccer, too much running, and my favorite sport to watch is whatever playoffs are on.
